Wedding in Burbank, CA

Tami and Ian are as fun as they are unique. Their love story began on a scuba diving boat and now years later they it is still one of their favorite ways to spend time together. They even went ScubaDiving in Costa Rica for their honeymoon! Most of their bridal party are professional scuba divers and instructors and man were they a fun group.

Tami and Ian really wanted to make their wedding day their own and so Tami opted to wear a stunning, black, floor length, backless gown and the groom had and all black suit with an outfit change into a traditional scottish kilt towards the end of the night.

Not only did the bride and groom wear all black, but the entire bridal party wore white. This made the Wedding so unique and memorable and a lot of fun!

Tami and Ian got married at the serene Calamigos Ranch in Burbank. Calamigos is located in the historic Griffith Park area near Disney and Warner Brother Studios.The beautifully manicured landscape and calming rock waterfall was the perfect way to feel like you are at a tropical destination without venturing far from home.

The ceremony was set outside in the garden in front of the rock waterfall, shaded by a romantic canopy aglow with bistro lights and surrounded by purple bougainvillea. Dinner was served indoors in the elegant Equestrian Ballroom with chandeliers, white sofas and floor to ceiling glass panel doors that open up to the garden. After dinner, guests meandered between the indoor and outdoor space. Playing giant Jenga or cornhole, and wandering inside when in need of a drink or something sweet.

Our night ended with and the entire bridal party on the dance floor with the bride and groom having the night of their lives! We felt so lucky to be able to capture this unique, fun, and beautiful couples Wedding day and we cannot wait to see what other adventures they get up to!
